I understand how it feels to work in an office. Sometimes your stuck at that desk for hours. The chip machine is close by and you have a mountain of files to get through. I am going to give you my THREE TOP TIPS of how you can survive an office job without packing on the kilos! 

**Keep Healthy Snacks In Your Drawers**

If you have healthy snacks in your draw then you are less likely to go to the chip machine. Sugary processed snacks not only wreak havoc on your blood sugar levels, but they generally leave you craving more. Pack some nuts, an apple, a protein shake, cans of tuna, protein bars, veggie sticks with hummus etc.

**Put A Water Bottle On Your Desk**

By having a water bottle in sight, on your desk, right in front of you, you are more likely to drink it. Dehydration can cause headaches and fatigue, so make sure you always refill it as soon as it gets empty!

**Get Up And Get Moving**

I know, you’ve got a lot of work to get through. Set a reminder every hour to get up out of your chair, go to the photocopier, grab some more water out of the cooler. When your lunch break arrives, make the most of it. Don’t just sit at work in the boring staff room. Get out and about. Go for a walk, catch some rays (which will help boost Vitamin D levels).

Having an office job doesn’t mean you have to be literally tied down to your desk. Be proactive about your health and fitness. These are just a few ideas to keep you healthy.
