My journey began on ANZAC day 2013, my husband had deployed 2 weeks prior and I thought this was the best time for me to begin this journey and never look back.
I never really had a goal; I just knew I needed to lose weight.
My first Personal Training session with Chloe was gruelling but life changing. I knew this was the beginning of something that would change the way in which my family and I would live our lives.
I was clean eating and attending PT sessions twice a week. I then started to attend 4-5 group sessions a week and I now have a love-hate relationship with this style of training. The support you receive from the people around you is unbelievable and the encouragement from the coaches is what keeps me coming back for more.
I started my journey weighing 97.6kgs, and when my husband returned from deployment on 13th October 2013, I weighed 76.1kgs! I had lost 21.5kg. He was shocked and amazed at my transformation.
I have Chloe and Rhys as well as all the gym members I now call family to thank for the journey that I have been on. It was a tough 6 months but I did it and will never look back.
